RARE! WWII Identified M1 Fixed Bale 9th Infantry Division 39th Regiment Helmet and Liner.
Famous 39th Regiment slogan A-A-A-O, -"Anything, Anytime, Anywhere, Bar Noting"- stenciled on both the liner and the helmet shell.
The helmet is identified to R. Armstrong, last four digits of his serial number is 5557. The helmet and the liner are both identified to this individual. See pictures.
The helmet liner is manufactured by Westinghouse and the fixed bale front seam shell has a heat code of 728 A. I believe this is McCord Radiator.
Condition overall all is very good.
Note: Individual is currently being researched for additional information.
