War of 1812 British Shako Plate. Water find Niagara Frontier. Very good condition. Measures 6 inches (153.4 mm x 4 inches (101.6 mm). Metal is gilded (copper and brass) stamped. Rare. This is the second full plate I have owned. Note the variation to the GR in the center of the plate. Most of these plates on the market today are reproductions. 100% authentic.
