Corset and Whalebone Schrimshaw Busk. Made from Baleen Whale Bone. Early 19th century. Measures 15 inches x 1 1/2 inches (381 mm x 38.1 mm). This busk has several panels with ships, animals, people, and writing throughout. The writing is illegible in areas on the busk. Good condition overall.
