Fur Trade Tag. Early 17th Century to mid 18th Century sheet copper fur trade tag. Made to be attached to bales of fur trade items. Water find. Old fort site along the Niagara Frontier. The tag measures 3 1/4 inches in length and 2 3/4 inches in width. Very good condition. I have attached a link for further information regarding the use of the tag. See below.
