Fur Trade Tag Dated 1753. Initials P*B front. Back has a large capital D. Appears to be made of iron or steel. Found at an old fort site along the Niagara Frontier. This would be the type of tag used to identify a trappers trap. The tag measures 1 1/8 of an inch in diameter. Very good condition.
